September Full Moon

Updated: Jan 29, 2021

September Full Moon.

The September Full moon passes through the sidereal constellation of Aquarius AEST 2nd Sept 0322, MDT 1 Sept 23:22, GMT 2nd Sept 06:22, beneath the Vedic star of Shatabisha. Five planets are dignified revealing a powerful full Moon to open the heavens for the extraordinary month ahead.

Following the perfectly poised day of September 9th, the Venus- Moon exchange brings a day of astro-perfection, a celestial still point. Make it so beloved astropeeps. This moment of auspicious grace. A moment where we traditionally remember our ancestors. From this place of deep alignment and peace, the pendulum will swing back towards greater intensity as we move slowly toward the low tidal point of dharma this year with the winter solstice in December 2020.

From September 10th Mars moves retrograde increasing in intensity through the month as both Jupiter and Saturn go direct. This bodes ill for increasing chaos and catastrophe. Days like these we look towards the Divine Light and the ancient Vedic mysteries to reveal the eternal truth of as above, so below.

The nakshatra of Shatabisha is the stage upon which the September moon reveals its beauty. Shatabisha is one of the most mysterious of lunar mansions. Solitary, visionary, meditative, able to look beyond the veil and beyond Reality, Shatabisha expresses deeply spiritual and dharmic energy. Symbolised by an empty circle, or one hundred healers it speaks from the concealment of a veil.

Shatabisha intimates of breakthrough in healing now available to us from many directions. It may only be through the intervention of the Asvin Kuamars this coronan tide will be broken. The deity of Shatabisha is Varuna, Lord of the oceans , who with Indra maintains with intensity,  order and justice in the world. Varuna has the shakti to cure. Varuna rules the night, the western direction, and insists on alignment with the dharma, the natural laws. Without which Shatabisha can cause loss, suffering and disease. The last emergence of this Vedic Star was in March just prior to the major pandemic outbreak upon the world.

Moon in Aquarius reflects a collective spirit and the communal  grace that has arisen out of the heartbreak and tragedy of these sad and painful months of the covidian era.

Shatabisha is revealing the way forward.

Seeking alignment to Dharma, is the healing, is the path to peace. Back to the Sky.       Music by Olafur Arnalds. Iceland

Feel them arresting me, unknowables Fading at dawn, troubles too Dimness sustains, oh, the regret I could be lost to you, lost in thought Sending a kiss back to the sky So has my world become run out of breath I’m not the only one to lose a friend Where do you go? You’re going home What do I do with the void in your shape Leaving me frailty, a drop and I break What do I do with half of myself? And then when stars align with some kind of peace I could be loved by you, either way Where did you go? You’re going home And then when stars align with some kind of peace I know I’m loved by you, either way Where did you go? You’re going home And then when stars align with some kind of peace I know I’m loved by you, either way Where did you go? You’re going home You’re going home
